From Havoc.

From Havoc was a powerful and emotionally charged production—an original theatre work that wove together scenes from classic plays with devised movement and storytelling. At its core, the piece explored how young people have faced crisis across generations, drawing compelling parallels and contrasts between youth “then and now.” With a cast of 20 talented young performers aged 13 to 22, the show was a bold, high-energy ensemble piece that demanded both technical precision and creative flair to bring its layered vision to life.

In my role as Technical Manager and Lighting Designer/Operator, I was responsible for overseeing all technical elements of the production. This included planning and executing a dynamic lighting design that supported the emotional arcs and tonal shifts between the classical text and the devised contemporary work. I worked closely with the director and movement choreographer to craft lighting states that enhanced key transitions, highlighted symbolic moments, and underscored the raw, youthful energy at the heart of the piece.
