Whangārei Boys High Graduation 2024

Working with Whangārei Boys’ High School to bring their graduation celebration to life has been one of the most personally meaningful and rewarding experiences in my event management journey. As an alumnus and someone deeply connected to the school community, it was incredibly special to contribute to an event that marks such a significant milestone in the lives of my peers and friends. Watching them celebrate the end of their 13-year journey through schooling, surrounded by whānau, friends, and kaiako, was truly powerful. I assisted WBHS with a wide range of event planning and production responsibilities, including venue layout and design, stage management, technical setup, and the coordination of audio-visual elements to ensure the event ran smoothly from start to finish. With hundreds of attendees, multiple performances and speeches, and a tight schedule, the event demanded strong logistical oversight and adaptability.
