Who are blind eyes?

Blind Eyes is a fresh force in Aotearoa’s music scene, hailing from the northern reaches of

Whangārei, Northland. Formed in 2023, this tight-knit group of musicians brings a raw energy and

genuine love for the craft that’s quickly earning them attention throughout the country.

Drawing inspiration from the diverse whakapapa each member of the band brings from te ao

Māori to Latin fusion. Blind Eyes crafts a sound that’s as unique as it is powerful. Their music

weaves together rock, reggae, and classic rock influences with fresh, unexpected flavours,

creating a genre blending experience that reflects both their cultural roots and their forward

thinking creativity.

Kicking off their journey in grassroots venues and local festivals, Blind Eyes has already performed

in front of tens of thousands of people. They’ve brought their electric live energy to iconic

Aotearoa venues such as ONEONESIX Whangārei, Whammy Bar, Beer and Loathing, Cassette Nine,

and more, steadily building a loyal following one gig at a time. Whether it’s the punch of a live set
